Small GT on Cruz PE 1-3 set up Fred first to score at Jarak
First a GT on Gomame jig Then, a spotted mackerel Following that, it's pandemonium!!
Every jig that went into the water got whacked either by spotties, queenies or GTs. Super Skarps jigs are especially deadly to queenies. GT took a Super Gomoku jig meant for the spotties.
Bites were intense and furious, we broke away from melee combat and anchored off Jarak to reorganize and replenish. Someone went forward to fling jet popper with a Cruz popping stick and got connected in short order. That "someone" posing with a nice GT. Fred took over the setup and scored a hook up almost instantly! GT popping can be deceptively easy sometimes...... Huat trying to break the Cruz popping stick. Huat landed this GT before we headed back to do battle with the toothy critters in the reefs. This Yellowtail fusilier fancied my Thunder jig. Ergosense rod + Goth 30 reel + 10lb Sufix 832 + 28g Thunder jig = GreaT fun!! Chilli crabs for dinner Ice jigs for supper
